Celebrate modern ageing with NPSP

21/09/2017

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is pleased to present an exciting program of events and activities during October, which celebrates modern and active ageing and promotes health and well-being.

The Zest for Life program, running from 16 – 27 October 2017, is brimming with workshops, classes, learning opportunities and social activities suitable for all ages.

“I encourage our community to explore the program and take advantage of a great range of opportunities across a variety of interest areas,” said Mayor Robert Bria.

“From fitness classes and well-being seminars, to arts, crafts and information technology workshops, there’s something for everyone in the 2017 program.”

Previously known as the Every Generation Festival, Zest for Life is presented as part of the COTA Zest Fest 2017 Festival for Modern Ageing.

“There’s a tour of the Linde Community Garden for the green thumbs, or the opportunity to roll some wines across the palate at Eastside Wine & Ale Trail cellar door, Signature Wines.”

The SA Police 32 piece Concert Band and 22 piece Big Band are again the highlight of the program.

“Upholding tradition, the program will culminate with another exceptional concert at the Norwood Concert Hall, featuring the SA Police Bands. This is one event not to miss!”

Bookings are required for many of the events, with limited places available.
