Computers & Internet

Our Library Service provides free Internet and computer services at all three branches.

Computer mouseAll PCs have access to the Internet and Microsoft Office, including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other various Windows applications.

Free Wireless Internet access is also available, as well as printing facilities at a low cost.

Don't forget to bring a USB storage device to save your documents and headphones for listening to online videos or music.

Reserve a computer

Reserve a computer: 

Computer reservations may be made for the same day and/or in advance for the forthcoming week.

Once you make your computer booking you will be given a receipt with the assigned PC number and the assigned time so you will know which computer to use.

Please note: unauthorised use of another person’s library card without that person’s permission is expressly forbidden and will be subject to prosecution.

  • 1 x ½ hour express PC with: Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office

Payneham Library

 

  • 5 x PCs with: Chrome and Microsoft Office
  • 1 x 15 minute PC with: Internet Explorer and Microsoft Office

St Peters Library

  •  6 x PCs with: Chrome and Microsoft Office

Free Wireless

Wireless network users may login and use 5GB of download per day during library opening hours.You do not need a library membership to use the free wireless. 

Computer and Internet Training

Our computer and Internet training sessions are perfect for beginners or for those who need to build on their skills and understanding.
