Mobile Food Vendors

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters offers opportunities for Mobile Food Vendors (MFVs) to trade at selected locations around the City.

About

Mobile Food Vendor Guidelines CoverA ‘mobile food vending business’ is a business involving the sale of food or beverages from a vehicle (including cars, vans, trucks, carts, trailers, bikes etc).

Recent legislative changes to the Local Government Act 1999 require all councils to prepare and adopt rules that set out locations within each council area where Mobile Food Vendors (MFVs) can operate.

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters has adopted Mobile Food Vendor Guidelines for this purpose. Mobile Food Vendors must comply with the Location Rules set out in the Guidelines at all times.
