Venues for Hire
The Council has a number of venues for hire. They range from small meeting rooms at the Payneham Community Centre to the fully serviced Norwood Concert Hall, available for graduation ceremonies, wedding receptions, trade shows, and special events.

Don Pyatt Hall (within the Norwood Town Hall)
Address: 175 The Parade Norwood (entrance off George Street)
The Don Pyatt Hall is suitable for seminars, meetings, sales or events. The atmosphere of this hall is professional yet welcoming with an old style charm.
Capacity: 100 people seated at trestles / 115 lecture style seating.
Dimensions: 12m x 12m Hall, Wooden Floor
Resources: Trestle tables, domestic kitchen, fridge, electric stove, pie warmer, air conditioning. Access for people with a disability.
Parking: A 30min loading bay is located outside the hall in George Street. Public car parks are available in the Webbe Street carpark behind the Norwood Town Hall or in George Street beneath the Cinema complex.
A security guard is required for evening functions where alcohol is planned to be served. Fees apply.

Norwood Concert Hall

Payneham Community Centre
Address: 374 Payneham Rd. Payneham
The Payneham Community Centre, previously Payneham Primary School, is a heritage listed building with charm. The Centre has a beautiful sandstone exterior, barbeque and lawn area and a welcoming atmosphere inside. The Centre is regularly hired by community groups or service clubs for meetings, and by private and commercial hirers for parties and seminars. A public car park is also available.
Capacity: with guests seated at trestles: 70 Main Hall / 80 lecture style seating;
50 Small Hall / 60 lecture style seating;
Rooms 1 & 2 - 35 seated at trestles;
Meeting Room - 10 seated at trestles.

Domestic Kitchen - 6.5m x 4m

Resources: Heating and cooling, tables with wheels in all meeting rooms, common kitchen with electric stove, fridge, urns, kitchen table and chairs. Domestic kitchen suitable for small scale catering with gas stove, pie warmer, fridge, urns, bench space for food preparation. 2 Whiteboards available.
Parking: Public car parks are available at the rear and Western side of the building (enter via Payneham Road for western carpark)

Payneham Library Complex & Community Facilities (Tirkanda)
Address: 2 Turner Street Felixstow (corner O.G. Road)
A modern building ideal for creating an impression with clients or guests, suitable for seminars, meetings or celebrations. There are 3 rooms available for hire with the added convenience of easy to remove walls so that spaces can be 'custom built' to suit your needs.
Payneham Room:
Capacity: 160 seated at trestles; 200 lecture style seating.
Dimensions: 18m x 13m, room area 234 m/sqr.
Resources: Plinth with microphone socket. (Please Note: hirers need to provide own microphone.) Semi industrial kitchen with oven, domestic dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge, boiling/cold water tap; trestles and upholstered chairs.
Trinity and Torrens Rooms:
Capacity: 20 seated at trestles; 50 lecture style seating.
Dimensions: 6m x 9.2m, room area 55 m/sqr.
Resources: 50 chairs and 2 trestles in each room, with whiteboard in Torrens room; 1 kitchenette with small fridge and wall urn.
Parking: Car parking for up to 150 vehicles is available.
