Norwood Christmas Pageant

The annual Norwood Christmas Pageant is one of Adelaide's most popular community pageants.

Date: Saturday 23 November 2013
Time: 10.00am onwards
Location: The Parade, Norwood

Come along and celebrate the spirit of Christmas in Norwood, with a colourful parade featuring clowns, acrobats, magicians, stilt walkers and puppeteers who create a vibrant atmosphere for all those watching. The must-see floats are a great source of entertainment and guaranteed to put a smile on the faces of young and old!

This enjoyable event is organised by the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters and a key volunteer group who work tirelessly throughout the year to make the Pageant a success. Come along and join in the fun of this annual event which has now become an integral part of the Norwood, Payneham & St Peters community.

Participation

The Norwood Christmas Pageant is a unique event encouraging members of the local community to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. It provides a wonderful opportunity for community groups, businesses, schools and individuals to participate in the festivities. Costumes

Costume will be available for collection from the RSL Hall on Woods Street, Norwood, from Monday 19 November -Wednesday 21 November between 3.00pm - 6.30pm.

Make-up

Make-up will be done at the RSL Hall on Woods Street, Norwood on Pageant Day from 7.30am onwards.

Road closures

In order to facilitate the procession of the Pageant, temporary road closures will be in place on the day of the event. More information
