Our Ageing Strategy

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, in conjunction with Councils in the Eastern Region Alliance (ERA), has developed its own Ageing Strategy and a Regional Ageing Strategy.

Background

The Ageing Strategies were developed as part of the Eastern Region Alliance (ERA) Ageing Strategies Project.

The aim of the Ageing Strategies Project was to develop a three year (2011-2014) Eastern Region Ageing Strategy and individual Ageing Strategies for the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters and other Eastern Region Alliance (ERA) Councils.

Both Ageing Strategies incorporate the outcomes of community consultations that took place between June 2011 and September 2011.

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Ageing Strategy was formally adopted by Council in March 2012.
