The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters has experienced a small but steady increase in its population since 2012, to more than 37,495 people, and is projected to increase to over 38,600 by 2026.
In recent years, the community has grown with an influx of new citizens from China, Malaysia, India and South Korea, many of whom are students. Other recent settlers include citizens from South Africa, Vietnam, Nepal, the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Sudan. We are proud of the diversity of our population and celebrate the many cultures which are represented in the community.
