Payneham Oval Playground Draft Concept Plan

19/11/2013

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is seeking comments from the community on the Payneham Oval Playground Draft Concept Plan, which includes a new ‘Action Themed’ Junior Playground at Payneham Oval.

As well as a new ‘Action Themed’ Junior Playground, the Payneham Oval Playground Draft Concept Plan also includes a well-designed pedestrian pathway network, new park furniture and landscaping and the relocation and renewal of the existing basketball ring, fitness equipment and public toilets, as part of the overall redevelopment of the south western corner of Payneham Oval.

This project aims to deliver a renewed community facility, including a unique, high standard play space that will support children of all abilities. Upon completion, the Payneham Oval Junior Playground will be the third innovative playground within the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters.
