COVID-19: State 'circuit breaker' restrictions from 19 November 2020
The South Australian Government has implemented 'circuit breaker' restrictions for six days which come into effect from 12:01 am Thursday, 19 November 2020.
These restrictions are designed to prevent further spread of COVID-19 in our state. Please refer to the South Australian Government COVID-19 website for further details about restrictions.
In accordance with these restrictions, the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters Libraries, Community Centres, Swimming Centres, Norwood Concert Hall, Don Pyatt Hall and Glynde Depot will be closed from close of business on 18 November 2020 until further notice. All Volunteer programs have been temporarily suspended.
However, for the duration of the 'circuit breaker' restrictions, a skeleton crew of field staff will be at the Depot to respond to any emergency call-outs.
The Norwood Town Hall Customer Service Centre and offices will continue to respond to telephone and email enquiries only. The Norwood Town Hall will not be open for walk-in enquires, payments and other transactions.
East Waste will continue to provide kerbside bin collection services during this time.
The Council continues to monitor the evolving situation and work through State Government advice, and will provide updates as required on this website and through Facebook and Twitter.
Please be kind to yourself and others, follow the advice of SA Health and stay safe.
