The Role
The City of Norwood Payneham and St Peters is seeking energetic Swimming Instructors for its owned and operated outdoor swimming facility. The bespoke outdoor Norwood Swimming Centre is centrally located in Kensington within a rivergum shaded setting.
The Swimming Centre operates seven (7) days per week (excluding Christmas Day) over a twenty-six (26) week swimming season from mid-October to mid-April with Learn-to-Swim lessons conducted throughout the swimming season.
About You
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Learn to Swim instructors who are confident in teaching a range of abilities and ages.
To be successful in this role, you will have a current:
• AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety accreditation or equivalent;
• Provide First Aid Certificate;
• National Criminal History (Police) Clearance; and
• Department of Human Services Working With Children Clearance.
Experience in supervision and teaching of children with excellent communication skills and a genuine love of teaching are also essential.
