Our Community Funding Program provides grants to support projects, events and activities that benefit the local community.
Applications for the Community Funding Program Grants closed 5.00pm, Monday 16 April 2018.
The Community Funding Program provides financial assistance of up to $5,000 per financial year to local non-profit groups, organisations and individuals, for projects and initiatives which benefit the local community and enhance community wellbeing.
Examples of projects or initiatives include:
- activities which protect and enhance the local environment or promote sustainable living
- purchase of new equipment to increase the ability of a group to deliver a service, activity or program to the community
- events that encourage cultural diversity or active participation in community life
- innovative sport, recreation and physical activity programs
- arts and cultural projects which have publicly accessible outcomes, including performances, concerts or workshops.
Applicants can apply for funding through the following two grants schemes:
Community Grants Scheme
(Up to $5,000 per financial year)
The Community Grants Schemes has four funding categories:
- Community Development
- Environment
- Events
- Sport & Recreation.
Public Art & Culture Grants Scheme
(Up to $5,000 per financial year)
The Public Art & Culture Grants Scheme has three funding categories:
- Artistic & Cultural Programs & Events
- Artistic Development
- Visual Public Art.
