We encourage and support local individuals and groups to hold events which engage and benefit our diverse community.

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters encourages the community to host large events in our beautiful parks, reserves and indoor venues.

The following information is provided to assist you in planning a community event in our City.

Where can I hold my event?

The Council owns and operates a range of indoor and outdoor venues that are available for hire for any size, budget or purpose. You can also apply to hold your event on a public or arterial road.

Apply to use a local road 

Norwood on Tour Children's ActivitiesA community road closure is a joint effort and relies on the involvement of the Council and local residents.

If you are planning to hold an event on a public road you must first seek approval from the Council.
