Sensor technology to monitor car parking in Webbe Street

In order to ensure a high turnover of vehicles and encourage more visitors to South Australia’s Premier Mainstreet, the Council will be installing “overstay detection system sensors” on the ground floor of the Webbe Street carpark. The sensor data will be collected in real time and if the maximum time is exceeded, an alert is sent to the Council’s Compliance Officer Regulatory Services Team, who will issue an expiation fine.
The sensors will be installed on 22 April 2024.
