Transport to and from local shopping centres and escorted shopping service.
A community car service is available to residents who do not have the physical capacity to use the community bus.
The service provides fortnightly transport to and from local shopping centres. An escorted shopping service is available for those residents who require assistance in the supermarket.
If a resident is unable to do their own shopping, a shopping list service is available, where one of the Council's Community Care Officers will complete a pre-prepared shopping list for the resident. To find out more about this service visit our Help at Home page.
Transport to and from shopping centres: $3.00 each way ($6.00 return).
Escorted shopping: $8.00 per service.
