Tasting Australia 2017: Taste Glynde & Co.

South Australia’s unique food manufacturing destination at Glynde will be showcased again at Taste Glynde & Co during Tasting Australia in April 2017, with the Norwood and Stepney Precincts joining the food festivities this year.

During the Taste Glynde & Co event, you'll get to sample award-winning produce, watch live cooking demonstrations, sip and sample fine wine and craft beer in our Tasting Room, enjoy music and entertainment, and be inspired by the passion and craftsmanship of the local producers.

 

Kids Cooking Classes (ages 4 - 12 years)

Join a cooking class hosted by Sprout Cooking School for a fun and interactive hands-on kids cooking class.

The classes will use local produce and the kids will not only prepare a delicious, fresh and healthy dish, but they will also take away their own meal to enjoy on the day, as well as receive a special Taste Glynde & Co. apron and chef's hat!

Classes will run for 30-45 minutes (depending on age) and parental supervision is not necessary.

Cost: $10 per child+ booking fee, per session. Bookings essential.

The Tasting Room

Get to know the great operators behind the Eastside Wine & Ale Trail and hear their history as you sample some of South Australia’s finest wines and Adelaide’s best boutique beer!

Book in to experience this exclusive Tasting Room as part of the Taste Glynde & Co event. These ticketed sessions will see guests receive a take-home tasting glass, wine bag and a copy of the Eastside Wine & Ale Trail brochure.

Each session will run for approximately 30 – 45 minutes and is capped at an intimate 18 people per session so be sure to get in quick!

12.00 noon - Tidswell Wines

1.00pm - Little Bang Brewing Co.

2.00pm - Salena Estate

Cooking Demonstrations

NO BOOKING REQUIRED - FREE

You are invited to watch six different chefs share their secrets and favourite recipes, for free!

Hosted by Pam Tobin, The Food Studio.

SESSION TIMES:

10.00am - Heather Day: Haloumi and Zucchini Fritters with zesty yoghurt sauce

11.00am - Salvatore Pepe: Tagliatelle ai Funghi Porcini

1.00pm - Salvatore Pepe: Brodetto di Pesce alla Siciliana

2.00pm - Pooi Keun Liew, L'Abruzzese Pasta: Tortiglioni Amatriciana

No need to book, there will be seats available so come early if you would like a seat at the front.

Indulge in locally produced food and wine and keep the kids entertained with cooking classes and activities. This is an event for the whole family and one not to be missed!
