The much-loved Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre will be transformed into an exciting water park—delighting swimmers, families and the wider community.

The transformation of Burchell Reserve is scheduled to be completed by the middle of 2024.

The Trinity Valley Drainage Upgrade: Stage 1 will take place between August 2024 – January 2025.

The St Morris Reserve Upgrade forms part of the Council’s Trinity Valley Stormwater Upgrade Project.

The Parade Streetscape Project will implement the vision set out in the Parade Masterplan.

The River Torrens Linear Park Shared Path Enhancement – This project will improve safety and accessibility for pedestrian and cyclists.

New clubroom and toilets with a fit-for-purpose building to support recreation activities.

The Dunstan Adventure Playground Upgrade will improve the adventure-themed play experience for children of all ages.

The St Peters Street Streetscape Upgrade was completed in April 2023.
Location Sixth Avenue & Stephen Terrace Intersection, St Peters
The Stephen Terrace Flood Mitigation Upgrade will reduce flooding during extreme rainfall events, and improve the capture and reuse of stormwater.
Location Osmond Terrace median, Norwood (part of the Beulah Road Bicycle Boulevard)
The Council has built a commemorative path to honour local cycling champion Nino Solari.

The Second Creek Outfall and Linear Park Path Upgrade compliments a $38.4 million program to upgrade the City’s stormwater drainage network over the next 15 years.

The Marian Road Roundabout and Drainage Upgrade has benefited the community by addressing and reducing the impacts of flooding and helping to protect residents, their homes and property.
