Swimming Centres

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters provides two swimming centres for the community — the much-loved Norwood Swimming Centre and the newly redeveloped Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre, which officially opens in October 2026.

The Council’s two swimming centres are managed by BlueFit, an experienced leisure facility management company with community-based values.

  • Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre

    We’re getting ready to welcome you to the new, state-of-the-art Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre!

    Featuring an accessible Olympic-sized outdoor pool, two accessible indoor pools, two water slides and an outdoor children’s splash play, the Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre will welcome visitors from late-September 2026, ahead of the official opening on 10 October.

  • Norwood Swimming Centre

    The much-loved Norwood Swimming Centre is nestled in leafy Kensington and features a 50-metre lap swimming pool and a shaded toddlers pool.

    Norwood Swimming Centre will reopen for the 2026–2027 swimming season on Monday 12 October.
