Libraries reopen Wednesday 28 July with temporary restrictions and revised capacity limits
We’re pleased to advise that as of Wednesday 28 July our Libraries will reopen with some changes to services across the three sites.
The Libraries will however be closed on Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August, with weekday opening hours resuming from Monday 2 August. We apologise for any disruption this may cause.
In accordance with the State Government COVID-19 restrictions, customers will need to wear a mask whilst in the Library, and checkin using the QR Code or paper based checkin system.
Over the next seven days all library programs will be also be suspended while we monitor the COVID -19 situation in South Australia.
Please be kind to yourself and others, follow the advice of SA Health and stay safe.
Other ways to access library collections
Library card holders can access plenty of books and online learning opportunities from any mobile device through the Libraries SA app
The online catalogue, available on the app, offers a huge range of books, digital magazines and newspapers, and online learning opportunities. The app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Customers can also continue to take advantage of the Click, Call & Collect service by reserving library items over the phone, online via the Library catalogue or by using the free Libraries SA app. All reserved items will then be available for collection from one of the Council’s three libraries.
