Eastside Startup Series Eastside startup series logo

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, in collaboration with Adelaide’s best startup business mentors and local entrepreneurs, is hosting a series of events in 2018 to help local startups by providing high-level strategic education and mentoring to aid future business growth.

Four events will be held in an open forum environment facilitated by Leap Sheep and a panel of experts, which will cover relevant topics including How to Start a Startup, Global Opportunities, Startup Growth and the Future of the Industry.

A free networking event will also be held as part of the series, enabling connection and knowledge sharing between other local entrepreneurs and business owners.

Eastside Business Enterprise Centre (EBEC) events

Eastside Business Enterprise Centre (EBEC) run a comprehensive program of events, training and workshops throughout the year.

EBEC events are informative and designed to be of benefit to businesses and provide an opportunity to network and meet other business people. The training is run by industry experts on a wide range of business topics.

City-wide business networking

On Wednesday 6 December, the Council hosted a special city-wide business networking event at Signature Wines, for businesses trading in the Council area.

Over 90 traders came together to enjoy festive drinks and canapés and to socialise and network.
