Video transcript: Burchell Reserve Redevelopment - A message from the Mayor

Hi everyone, I'm Mayor Robert Bria.

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters have some of the best parks and reserves in Adelaide's Eastern suburbs.

Many people in our community, as well as visitors from surrounding areas, will be familiar with Burchell Reserve where I'm here today.

Not only it is a popular place for sports lovers, a great spot for relaxing picnic, but it's also a quiet setting for a fun day with family and friends.

The Upgrade includes a multi-purpose court featuring two community tennis courts, basketball and netball rings, new toilets, shelter, barbecues and picnic facilities, a new playground and much, much, more!

The Burchell Reserve upgrade will establish a contemporary park setting ensuring that residents and the wider community have great facilities well into the future.

Work is expected to be finished by the middle of next year and I know the state-of-the-art facilities will be a huge hit for the local community.
