Step inside a reimagining of Don Dunstan’s iconic dining room for a unique live conversation series inspired by the spirit, intellect and hospitality of one of South Australia’s most influential leaders.
Held within the exhibition space, this intimate Thursday afternoon program will bring together invited guests from political, cultural, culinary and arts backgrounds to discuss themes connected to Don Dunstan’s life, legacy and enduring impact on South Australian society. Much like the lively gatherings Don himself was known for hosting, these discussions will explore ideas around politics, social change, creativity, culture and community in a relaxed and engaging setting.
Session Two:
Join Greg Mackie and special guests for a personal conversation exploring the impact of Dunstan’s decade of reform. As a respected cultural advocate and someone who has “worn many hats” – co-owner of Imprints Bookseller, Arts Supremo with Arts SA and founder of the Adelaide Festival of Ideas to name a few, Greg will host a panel of friends to share their stories of Dunstan the man, his legacy and what still remains today. Their stories are both personal and professional, they tackle the Dunstan era and beyond.
Please note this event may be photographed, recorded or filmed for both promotional and documentation purposes. By purchasing a ticket to this event you are consenting to being filmed.
Bookings essential.
