Calling future scientists, engineers, innovators and sustainability leaders!

STEM for Good: Girls Leading Sustainable Futures is a free, eight-week, hands-on STEM program for girls aged 8–12, delivered through the Library and supported by Inspiring South Australia.

The program is designed to build confidence, creativity and leadership skills in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) through collaborative sustainability challenges connected to real local environmental issues.

Participants will work alongside Council sustainability staff and industry guests to explore ideas, develop solutions and put their STEM skills into practice through weekly hands-on activities.

The program will conclude with a community showcase, where participants will present their projects to family and friends, course contributors and Council representatives, celebrating their achievements as emerging STEM learners and future sustainability leaders.
