Events & Festivals Calendar Guidelines


The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters’ Events and Festivals Calendar can be used to promote events that support our area and local community.

You are welcome to submit your event if it:

  • occurs within the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters council area;
  • is open to the general public; and
  • has broad appeal for the local community as well as visitors to our area (determined at the discretion of the Council).

If you wish to submit an event:

  • please include all necessary information, a description of the event and an image;
  • event organisers are responsible for uploading information regarding their event; and
  • the Council takes no responsibility for errors made by event organisers when the event is uploaded.
  • if you need to update the event details, please email: townhall@npsp.sa.gov.au or call 08 8366 4555 with details on what needs to be updated.

The event may be refused if it:

  • could conflict with the Council’s values, policies or statutory responsibilities;
  • promotes a specific religious or political activity or belief;
  • has an administrative or governance focus (e.g. AGM, member meetings or board meetings);
  • does not provide complete information, such as dates, times and venue;
  • does not promote the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters in a positive manner;
  • affects the Council’s reputation and public image negatively;
  • is offensive, abusive or racist;
  • promotes tobacco or alcohol use or distribution;
  • appears to only promote or advertise the services of a business or commercial enterprise;
  • is held outside the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters; and
  • events such as individual garage sales and regular sporting events including school sporting activities, home games etc.

The Council reserves the right to edit, decline or remove events and community messages at its discretion.
