The Buttery Reserve Upgrade not only provided modern tennis court facilities for Norwood Tennis Club and the community, but also increased the lifespan of these valuable community assets by at least 20 years.

The works included:

  • four new tennis courts which comply with Tennis SA Standards and Guidelines
  • new tennis court lighting
  • new water fountain
  • new landscaping
  • 3.5 metre high perimeter court fencing with electronic booking system for public use
  • new stormwater infrastructure.


The Buttery Reserve Upgrade was funded by the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters and the Department of Transport through the Open Space Grant Fund.

The project was completed in February 2021.
