Swimming Centres

The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters provides two swimming centres for the community — the much-loved Norwood Swimming Centre opening 12 October and the newly redeveloped Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre, which officially opens in 10 October.

The Council’s two swimming centres are managed by BlueFit, an experienced leisure facility management company with community-based values.

  • Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre

    Final touches are on track for the official opening on 10 October, however the 50m and 25m pool are open.

    The new centre features an accessible Olympic-sized outdoor pool, two accessible indoor pools, two water slides and an outdoor children’s splash play.

  • Norwood Swimming Centre

    The much-loved Norwood Swimming Centre is nestled in leafy Kensington and features a 50-metre lap swimming pool and a shaded toddlers pool.

    Norwood Swimming Centre will reopen for the 2026–2027 swimming season on Monday 12 October.
