Major upgrade to the much-loved Dunstan Adventure Playground

One of the City’s most-loved Playgrounds will be transformed following the installation of new adventure-themed equipment, which is bound to delight children of all ages.

The Dunstan Adventure Playground will undergo a $1 million development which will also include a new shade structure, lighting, new public toilets and better path integration with the River Torrens Linear Park.

Mayor Robert Bria said the redevelopment of the popular Playground  - which was constructed in the 1980's  -  will ensure it stays appealing, safe and practical for many years to come.

$450,000 in funding was provided from the State Government’s Open Space and Places for People Grant Program, with the Council providing $550,000.
