NPSP launches Eastside Design for Living to support local interior and homeware businesses
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters will tonight launch its inaugural homeware and interior design publication to help support the local industry.
Mayor Robert Bria will officially launch Eastside Design for Living at Art Images Gallery, located on The Parade, Norwood at 6pm.
“Tonight’s launch marks a very important milestone for economic development in the City, with the launch of this new, unique and highly anticipated publication,” Mayor Bria said.
“It is understood that the Council is the first in the state to develop, create and launch a publication of this type.
“Our City has a long-standing reputation for its stunning interior and homeware businesses, and it is for these very reasons the Council wanted to capture the talent, diversity and style of local establishments.”
Eastside Design for Living has been developed by the Council in collaboration with the 47 businesses that are featured.
“From small and family owned to those recognised internationally, these businesses have a strong emphasis on inspiring and exploring individual tastes, with the ultimate aim of enhancing the beauty and style.
“Boasting creative flair, exceptional service and a sharpened knowledge of market and design trends, Eastside Design for Living is not only visually appealing, it is a wealth of history and knowledge.”
Each business featured is helping to promote our City as Adelaide’s number one destination for international design, custom made furnishings and unique homewares.
The publication and the businesses featured within it, will be promoted on the Council’s websites, via social media and a range of other external advertising platforms, such as SA Life.
Eastside Design for Living is available from participating homeware and interior businesses, as well as Norwood Town Hall and online: www.npsp.sa.gov.au
