A record-breaking 11,062 votes in the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters’ Eastside Business Awards

The Awards, hosted by the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters in conjunction with Solstice Media is a highly respected industry event.

While the winners will not be announced until 19 April, Mayor Robert Bria said it was pleasing so many people nominated their favourite business, service, or experience in our City in 2023.

“I am sure there are many anxious people waiting to see if their business received the top honour in one of the various categories,” Mayor Bria said.

The categories include best café/restaurant, best fashion retailer, best independent small business, best coffee, best customer experience, best hair/beauty salon, best arts & culture/ entertainment experience, best pub/bar, best food/beverage manufacturer and best professional service.

Arguably the most coveted of all, the Hall of Fame Award, is presented to the business which has operated in the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters for more than 20 years and is selected by the panel of judges.

Past Hall of Fame winners include James Thredgold Jeweller in 2022; The Parade Norwood Veterinary Clinic in 2021 and ORBE in 2020.

In 2022, 10,900 votes were cast in the Eastside Business Awards, compared to 9584 in 2021 and 6877 in 2020.
