Find your new look at Bailey Nelson
Posted
26/08/2022

The minute someone walks through the doors of Bailey Nelson’s newest branch on The Parade, Store Manager Laura Oldham can tell if they’re an existing customer. “That’s because Bailey Nelson frames have a really unique look,” she explains. The stylish, contemporary designs are perfect for fashion-conscious consumers seeking distinctive eyewear that reflects their personality, and the constantly evolving range of colours on display means there’s always something new in store.
“At the moment, greens are huge,” says Oldham, “and the neutral, earthy tones in the current line-up are very understated. But while our colours are timeless, the shapes of the frames are unique to Bailey Nelson; it’s a classic look with a bit of an edge.” This contemporary approach means that the store, which opened on May 28, fits in perfectly with the fashion-forward boutiques lining The Parade.
The entire range of eyewear is designed in Australia and moulded by hand using Italian acetate of the highest quality. And the exclusive Design Studio range takes the bespoke model even further; every three months Bailey Nelson releases a new collection of limited-edition styles that are perfect for anyone who loves to stand out from the crowd.
In addition to foregrounding cutting-edge design, one of Bailey Nelson’s highest priorities is keeping their eyewear affordable. The store offers bulk-billed eye testing, and prices start at $199 for two pairs of glasses. All Bailey Nelson lenses feature anti-reflective coating as a standard (they’re the only eyewear company to include it at no additional cost), and can be upgraded with reactive Transition lenses and polarisation.
And Oldham, who has worked in eyewear since 2013, says there’s one other important factor that sets Bailey Nelson apart. “We’re really fair and we’re really kind, so the energy about our store is fantastic. It means you can expect service that is very professional, but also very friendly.” It’s a perfect fit for the Bailey Nelson mantra that buying glasses should be fun rather than clinical or stressful.
