Volunteering is the heart of the nation and our community. Volunteers play a critical role in providing services would otherwise not exist. Volunteering brings people together, builds connections and enhances the quality of life for our citizens.
About the Strategy
The Volunteer Strategy will guide the development and growth of the Council’s Volunteer Services over the next four years. It focuses on the following key areas:
- celebrating and recognising our volunteers for the vital role they play
- creating meaningful opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to get involved
- partnering with the community to ensure volunteer programs deliver positive impact where it matters most.
