This year to celebrate plastic free July we are upcycling your old t-shirts.

Once you have learned this simple technique you can repurpose your old t-shirts and tank tops into tote bags to be used for groceries, library books, gym gear or harvesting your backyard veggies. Super stretchy; they can hold an unbelievable amount of stuff!

You can even use them for gift-wrapping where the bag becomes part of the gift.

You are only limited by your imagination as far as decoration goes.

Please bring:

- An old, clean t-shirt or tank top
- Scissors, if you have them (we will have some scissors but not enough for everyone to use at the same time)
- Fabric paint, large beads, Bedazzler, if you want to decorate your bag - optional

This is a DIY hands-on workshop. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
