Got holey socks? This popular hands-on workshop by Judy will give you the skills to repair your own socks.

Back by popular demand...Judy (a repair cafe repairer) will teach you the basic techniques of honeycomb darning for holes, and gomashio (sesame seed stitch) which is excellent for reinforcing thin parts of socks before they turn into holes. If you can thread a needle and sew a straight stitch, then you can darn.

You will need to bring:
- A sock with a hole (or getting thin)
- A small jar with lid
- Small scissors (not essential)

We will provide:
- A darning needle
- Yarn (if you prefer to colour match your repair you will need to bring your own yarn with you, a similar weight to your project)

This workshop has very limited numbers due to the hands-on nature and limited space. Register now to book a spot.
