Discover fitness and fun in our parks and reserves!

Our parks and reserves are places for the whole family to enjoy—even your canine companions can explore 10 off-leash areas

Many of our parks feature recreational facilities such as tennis, netball and basketball courts, cricket pitches and sporting fields and they are ideal settings for filming and photography, weddings, birthday parties and corporate events.

This brochure includes a listing of the parks, playgrounds and reserves maintained by the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters and where to find them.

The general amenities at many of these venues are listed in the brochure. These include push button barbeques, picnic tables and bench seating as well as shade, shelters and lawn.

There is access to power and parking at some venues and many parks are easily reached via public transport, an attractive option when planning functions or events.

Felixstow Reserve includes a number of facilities, including extensive open lawn area, 1km running loop which connects to the River Torrens Linear Park trail, five fitness stations and basketball, netball and bocce courts, BBQ areas and a large park pavilion, as well as drinking fountains and wayfinding signs.

Felixstow Reserve showcases some of the rich cultural history of the Kaurna people – the traditional owners of the Adelaide plains on which the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is located. The local waterways, landforms, features and living things continue to be significant and important to Kaurna people today.
