Norwood Swimming Centre will reopen on 12 October 2024
The Norwood Swimming Centre is open from 12 October 2024 to 16 April 2025.
The Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre is closed for a major upgrade
We offer swimming lessons for children from 3 years of age during the swim season.
The aim of swimming lessons is to increase swimming and water safety skills, water confidence and enjoyment.

Swimming lessons
Children (3 years +)
Swimming lessons for children aged 3 years + are offered at the Norwood Swimming Centre on the following days and times:
$19 per lesson (includes entry)
- Monday – 3.30pm to 6pm
- Tuesday – 3.30pm to 6pm
- Wednesday – 3.30pm to 6pm
- Thursday – 3.30pm to 6pm
- Saturday – 9am to 12pm
VACSWIM (5 years +) - online enrolments open
SA Water Vacswim is a South Australian Government funded program for school children aged 5 years +.
Program dates: 13 - 17 January 2025

Holiday Swim Program - Royal Life Saving SA (3 years +)
About:
We will be running the same Swim and Survive lessons you know and love, so bring your logbooks and get ready for a week of fun and learning!
Holiday Swim is a Royal Life Saving SA initiative. The aim of the Holiday Swim Program is to continue to teach children critical lifesaving skills and basic swimming skills, to equip them with the knowledge to stay safe in, on and around the water.
The program will be held at the Norwood Swimming Centre.
Details:
5 day program
16 - 20 December 2024.
Courage lessons are 30 Minutes
Active Swim and Survive Level D1-7 lessons are 45 minutes

The Norwood Swimming Club fosters healthy competition welcoming everyone, with 5 levels available to swimmers depending on age and swimming ability.

The Payneham Swimming Club promotes swimming for fun, fitness and competition, with 5 squads available depending on age and swimming ability.
