AI in Action: Hands‑On with the Latest Platforms is a practical, beginner‑friendly introduction to today’s most popular AI tools.

The session demystifies artificial intelligence by showing how people already use AI in everyday life and at work, often without realising it. Participants are guided through hands‑on examples of

  • Microsoft Copilot
  • ChatGPT
  • Claude
  • Perplexity

Learning what each tool is best for - from productivity and creative tasks to research and fact‑checking. With a strong focus on digital inclusion, responsible use, and AI literacy, the presentation empowers library staff and community members to use AI confidently, safely, and effectively.

Presented by Zoran Opacic – Digital Literacy Programs Officer, Public Library Services

Through partnerships with LibrariesSA and Good Things Foundation Australia, Zoran is helping bring AI learning opportunities to communities across the state.

Where: St Peters Library, 101 Payneham Road St Peters.
