The much-loved Payneham Memorial Swimming Centre will be transformed into an exciting water park— delighting swimmers, families and the wider community.
As part of the Council's Swimming Centres Strategy which was endorsed in 2017, the Swimming Centre will be completely redeveloped with two new pools, high platform waterslides and water play areas.
While the Centre is much-loved, it is also desperately in need of major work—with the total cost expected to be about $20 million.
