Elected Member Claire Clutterham thumbCr Claire Clutterham

I live in the St Peters Ward with my family. I love to run, and when I exercise in the streets of our beautiful Ward I am always reminded of how lucky we are to live in an area that is true representation of South Australian history – it is peaceful, tranquil and safe, with a unique character that is worth preserving.

As a practising lawyer and volunteer Director on the Board of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (Central Operations), governance, transparency in Council operations and accountability to residents are important to me, and I am motivated to ensure that the NPSP Council continues to employ best practice in these areas for the continuing benefit of all residents.

I am pleased to have been elected to the Audit & Risk Committee, and look forward to contributing to the Council’s financial health and shaping its approach to risk and opportunity. I am also looking forward to sitting on the St Peters Childcare Centre Committee, and to listening to the ideas and concerns of parents who are invested in a quality early learning experience for their children.

I am also a supporter of public libraries as centres of education and collaboration, and will always advocate for events, community groups and public spaces that facilitate community connection, engagement and physical and mental health and wellbeing.

Apart from running, I devote my spare time to playing Masters netball, coaching and umpiring junior netball, and watching the AFL and AFLW. I also spend as much time as I can sampling the wonderful food and wine we have on offer across the entire Council.
