Cr Hugh Holfeld
Having grown up in Felixstow, I am honoured to represent Torrens Ward in the Council.
I am a student currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Adelaide and working as a swimming instructor at local pools. I also enjoy playing social netball at Stepney, soccer for the Collegiates Adelaide University Soccer Club Black, and recorder for the Society of Recorder Players SA.
I will strive to clean and expand green spaces and establish systematic maintenance programs to safeguard our environment in our Council for many years to come. After the troubles of the pandemic, I aim to better assist and grow community clubs that are the cornerstone of our local area. Given our ward is home to many houses of heritage value and new housing developments, a crucial balance must be found to protect the heritage and environment of neighbourhoods while ensuring quality housing for new residents.
