Asset Management Plans

The Council has developed four asset management plans, which set out how the Council intends to manage its key assets going forward.

The City's asset management plans have been developed in accordance with requirements under the Local Government Act 1999, and adopted following community consultation.

 

4. Fallow, St Peters Street, St PetersBuildings and infrastructure

The Community Buildings Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan sets out the Council's proposed strategies for the management and maintenance of its buildings and is based on the Buildings Review Asset Management Strategy, adopted by the Council in 2008.

The Plan outlines the lifecycle requirements for the effective management, inspection and replacement of these asset classes including the financial implications and projected forecasts for the Council's expenditure in this area over the next 15 years.

 


 

Civil Works FootpathsCivil infrastructure

The Civil Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan sets out the Council's proposed strategies for the management and maintenance of its civil assets.

Based on the Council's 'Whole of Life' model, adopted by the Council in 2003, the Plan outlines the lifecycle requirements for the effective management, inspection and replacement of these asset classes as well as outlining the financial implications and projected forecasts for the Council's expenditure in this area over the next 20 years.

Ninth Ave June 2018-1Stormwater drainage

The Stormwater Drainage Infrastructure & Asset Management Plan sets out the Council's proposed strategies for the management and maintenance of its stormwater drainage assets and is based on the 15-year Drainage Plan, adopted by the Council in 1999.

The Plan incorporates new works to enhance the Council's existing drainage network and outlines the lifecycle requirements for the effective management and replacement of these asset classes. These include the financial implications and projected forecasts for the Council's expenditure in this area over the next 20 years.

Recreation and open spaceCommendation - Community Category -  Borthwick Park, Kensington

The Recreation and Open Space Infrastructure and Asset Management Plan outlines the management of the City's recreation and open space assets.

These assets include park furniture, tennis courts, playgrounds, irrigation infrastructure and other elements including artworks, monuments and plaques, bins, barbeques, bike racks and flagpoles.
