Leah Grant is an emerging artist based in Adelaide. She explores the textures and colours of various mediums, focusing most recently with ink and resin on canvas. Her approach is energetic yet emanates a peaceful, reflective mood.

Grant draws on her own life experiences, relationships and emotions to produce work that she intends to challenge others with. Her work encourages a slower pace, to allow room to breathe, reconsider ideas and see a new beauty within.

Grant graduated with a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Federation University in 2009, later also completing a Diploma of Education (Secondary) in 2012.

Immersed in a passion for visual arts education, she continues to create her own work, including illustrating a children’s book in 2014 and is currently exhibiting seven artworks at Blyth Street Light Box Gallery from March till September 2015. In March she also had an exhibition at Majestic Minima Hotel and her next solo exhibition is at Tin Cat Cafe for SALA Festival from July till August 2015.
