The Gallery is a space for everybody to explore and connect with contemporary art and cultural heritage.
The Gallery is located in the iconic St Peters Town Hall Complex, which is also home to St Peters Library, Cultural Heritage Centre, Eastern Health Authority and local alternative radio station, Three D Radio.
Our curated exhibition program gives the community the opportunity to engage with contemporary art and cultural heritage artifacts, as well as showcasing emerging and established artists.

Past exhibitions
common | place: 16 June - 15 July 2023
common | place brought together artists from two collectives to showcase their creative ventures in a common place.
Thirty-three contemporary artists from Collective Haunt Inc and Parallel Studios came together for a group exhibition unlike any other, to showcase a diverse collection of painting, printing, sculpture, textiles and mixed media artworks.
Beyond the Bleachers: 14 April – 30 May 2023
Celebrating Norwood Football Clubs History. This exhibition offered a rare chance to see a range of vintage photos and memorabilia dating back to the origins of the Redlegs in 1878.

2024 exhibition dates
Number
In your application you will be asked to select preferred exhibition dates(s).
The 2024 exhibition season dates are as follows:
1 December 2023 to 13 January 2024
16 February to 30 March 2024
2 August to 31 August 2024
29 November 2024 to 11 January 2025. -

The Council offers five exhibition spaces within The Gallery and adjacent Eastern Health Authority (EHA) area. View the floorplan to get a sense of the spaces and to help you draft your layout (optional).

What to include in your application

Please include:
Up to date Artist(s) CV and artists(s) statement, exhibition title and description (maximum 500 words)
Size of exhibition (number of proposed works, including medium and dimensions)
Draft exhibition layout (optional). For gallery dimensions and specifications please refer to the gallery floorplan above
Images of complete or in progress proposed artwork (artist name, title, year created, medium, dimensions, complete or in progress)
Previous artwork examples (up to 3 per artist). -
