General Manager Community Development
Full-Time
An exciting opportunity exists for a General Manager, Community Development, to join the Executive Leadership Team.
This newly created position will be responsible for driving innovative strategies and initiatives to support and strengthen a broad range of services, programs and facilities to positively promote and enhance the health and wellbeing of the City’s citizens.
You will lead a high performing team who are responsible for community services, recreation, libraries, arts and cultural programs, youth, aged care services and Volunteers; all of whom work collaboratively on community capacity building initiatives and projects to support social cohesion and community development.
This role will be critical in supporting the long-term strategic and financial direction of the Council.
WHS Advisor
Full-Time
As a WHS Advisor, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding the workforce and maintaining the commitment to safety.
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive WHS programs and policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate workplace incidents and provide recommendations for prevention.
- Collaborate with city departments to promote a culture of safety and provide guidance on WHS matters.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and legislation, ensuring the organisation's WHS policies are up to date.
