Bethany Cherry (aka why_knot_art) is an Australian visual artist, muralist and illustrator. She is an internationally-recognised artist with work in the USA, Canada, Asia, Africa and Australia. She currently works from her home studio in Adelaide. Bethany’s practice explores themes of love, value and human connection. Blending image and imagination, Bethany uses bold forms and interwoven compositions to create a commonly understood language. Often minimally coloured - consistently black and white - her works attract attention, demands intrigue and make a space more. Bethany is interested in working with local communities and organisations to create meaningful, visually engaging outcomes.
