Annual salary $72,543 - $76,656 + Statutory Superannuation (as at November 2025)
The City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters is an inner eastern metropolitan Council, nestled on the outskirts of the CBD. The area enjoys a reputation as one of Adelaide’s most desirable places to live, work, study and visit.
The Role
This is a perfect opportunity to join our City Services team which is responsible for ensuring the Council’s infrastructure remains safe and functional for our community to enjoy.
Every day is different as you work across the Council area maintaining roads, footpaths, drainage and infrastructure.
About You
To be successful in this position you will be a proactive and motivated individual who possess the following skills and experience:
• A good understanding of best practices in civil works
• Hands on experience in civil works, construction, and maintenance of roads, footpaths and drainage systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Car Licence & MR truck licence (essential)
• Work zone traffic management certificate (desirable)
• Trade certificate in a relevant field relevant (desirable)
Job Requirements
• National Criminal Record (Police) Clearance with no adverse findings
• Department of Human Services (DHS) Working With Children Clearance
• Be fit to undertake the inherent job requirements and the physical demands of the position
